IF YOU SUCCESSFULLY DREW A LICENSE

Licenses will be mailed about three weeks following the draw.
Regulations will be mailed in August.
If you haven't already, you will need to purchase a conservation stamp before your hunt.
You will need proof of hunter education if you were born after Jan. 1, 1966 before you hunt.
If you added a conservation stamp, elk special management stamp or archery license, you will see a charge on your credit card following the draw for these items.

IF YOU ARE UNSUCCESSFUL DRAWING A LICENSE

Refunds will be applied back to the credit card that you used to apply for your license.
You can anticipate your refund on the credit card within 7 to 10 days after the draw results are posted.
If the credit card was a pre-paid card, a refund check will be mailed in the name of the applicant.
Outfitters who utilized the outfitter portal or business account to submit applications will receive a check in the name of the applicant. Outfitters who didn’t submit applications through the outfitter portal will receive a credit applied back to the credit card used to submit the application.

PREFERENCE POINTS:

Nonresidents who are unsuccessful or who drew their second or third choice are not awarded a preference point automatically.
Hunters eligible for preference points may apply between July 1 and Oct. 31.
